    Reviews about Clifton Village Pharmacy

    • Clifton Village Pharmacy provides an excellent service. The staff, Upveer and Jenna are caring in a very personal way. I am aged and disabled and rely on deliveries. They are always delivered promptly by Richard and often include suggestions for medication based on a personal knowledge of the client. I cannot praise them too highly. Barrie Suart BS1 5JP

Absolutely avoid! Absolutely appalling service and verging on the unsafe. I handed in an emergency prescription for insulin and other essential items. Before handing over the prescription I checked they had the items in stock which I was told they did. I was subsequently told over a period of two days that it was nearly ready. I turned up after 4pm on a Friday (as asked by them - after I had specified two days earlier that Friday would be the absolute latest I could wait until) and after much querying, discovered they didn't have any of the ten prescriptions i had given them, despite being told they were in stock. In my view it is wholly unethical to accept emergency prescriptions and telling concerned patients the prescriptions are in stock when you are fully aware you are unable to fulfil that promise. Living with a chronic disability is hard enough without being fobbed off and further stressed by your pharmacist. Luckily for me I took my prescription back and Regent Pharmacy (located down the road) were open down and had what I needed in stock. Otherwise I would have spent my weekend in a&e

    • When my husband was diagnosed with leukaemia the Pharmacist and his staff could not have been more helpful. Their assistance and advice was invaluable not only sourcing medical items for him but also helping to keep the rest of the family healthy over the Winter months so that we could avoid passing any colds or infections on to him as his immune system was completely compromised. We would have been really lost without them, this is such a vital resource and also meant we didn't have to overload our GP. They also offer a loyalty card. Excellent service- can't recommend them highly enough.
